CHINCHISAN OANA ADRIANA

My name is Chinchisan Oana Adriana. I was born in Iasi- Romania in 1983 and soon thereafter moved to Suceava with my family. I spent the better part of my early youth in Suceava where my love of art began. I graduated Art College Suceava, the Visual Arts and Design Faculty Iasi,  Visual Art-Master The Faculty of Electrical Engineering Suceava. Now I attend  first year classes of Visual Art doctorate in Iasi, having Conf. Univ. Dr. Liviu Suhar as a teacher advisor.

Since I was ten years old I became obsessed with perfecting my drawing.

My first calling to paint was inspired by the mysticism of Fantastic Art traditions. My interest in symbolism and archetypal psychology explains that my painting is somewhere between Surrealism and Fantastic Art, a mix of the strange and the magical. The painting attached to this mail is called "SIN", executed in oil on canvas technique, size 120/100cm.

This painting combine classical sensibility with a modern visionary aesthetic by exploring the technique of letting go and allowing my subconscious impulses to come to the fore while drawing, I soon realized that my creative imagery can be used as a mirror to reveal the archetypal depths of the psyche.

Driven by love, hate, sin and redemption, my art includes in large part erotic subjects, sensuality, poetry and sometimes an anecdote or even black humor.
