NATALIA RUDZINA
I
“was born” in orchestra pit of Opera House of Minsk, capital of
Belarus. My parents were musicians. I
was quite little girl, sat on the toll, contrabass chair, surround by
music and looked spellbound at the stage.
Up to 20 years, Opera House
was my temple. I studied in music school, then in artistic
school for children( painting and drawing). But not only that shaped my
creative manner . Summer school holidays in the former Soviet Union
lasted 3 months. The parents often took me with them on tour in
the coastal towns : Sochi, Kaliningrad, I saw the great rivers and seas,
great Cities of that vast country. It leaves an indelible mark on my
soul. . By train, I loved to visit not only the evening performances,
but sat and looked at the rehearsals and auditions singers. When the
tour were in not very interesting cities I have spent holidays in the
countryside among the legendary, magic, Belarusian forests. In addition
to music, theater and nature, my weakness has always been a movie. After
graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1977, I began working in
television. While at the Minsk television were plays for children,
musical performances, literary and dramatic plays ... I created, for
example “Alice in Wonderland”, “ Moomintroll “ of Tove Jansson, Music Salon with a
prominent Eleonora Ezerskaya. I performed this task in so various
genres and styles according to the will of the director.. but I wanted
to work independently…. so appeared canvas and paint... where( which)
mixed music, dancing and singing grass, meadows, snow, people, towns
(cities), seen in a dream, or remembered from childhood or perhaps
inspired by the movie or backstage theatre. I going down into the deep
ocean, flying into space… I created forgotten and imagined the beauty-
ballerina(S) and mysterious Diva ( s) or spirits from the forest.
I
was always tormented by the question: why people perceive ( feels) music
brighter than painting or drawing ... .... I had set itself the problem
arises to the viewer of musical perception of painting, and when I get
such comments, I think that I was going in the right creative path.( I
consider that I go on a faithful creative way).
I
have exhibited in the gallery "Art Salon" in Minsk. I was popular not
only for my country-people but also to foreigners willing to buy my
pictures. In hard times, I ventured migrating to Germany, while Germans
also with pleasure bought my pictures. ... But in Germany look to the
art a few another (and I had to start everything from a zero.)(and I
feel somewhat confused) .
