KATJA SCHNEIDER
I have had trouble calling
myself an artist.
I see the world and
sometimes the world sees me.
I am saddened by mass
production.
I enjoy the simple things
in life , that were by no means created in a simple way.
taps, pens , paint brushes
, paper
images re-produced
images taken of the perfect
life then used as a banner of all that we could be....
but some-how need products
to obtain.
I am lifted to new heights
by simplicity
sweat, tears and laughter
campfires and guitars.
Hope is the rain that falls
when there has been nothing but draught.
Faith is the current that
guides a tired raft to shore.
Happiness is when you're
smiling and you don't know why.
