     The center of my painting is a human. Human relationships, emotions, subjective experience, view of the world, etc. Human is inexhaustible source of my painting issues. There is nothing in this world that can offer so many different and simultaneously interesting stories like human can.

    I always start from the basis of my paintings and that is photography. I am connected with it same as I am to a blank paper, canvas, brush. Photography represents a frozen picture to me; I choose a cadre and let myself to the process in which world around me begins to turn into a series of possible paintings.

   I do not bend to hyperrealism which is often related to painting through photography, I dare to name my painting style photo expressionism.

   Besides acrylics I very often paint in watercolor because of larger artistic opportunities. It is easier and simpler to reach the painting solution, and watercolor itself has incredible features that cannot be measured to any other technique.

    For now, my painting is full of ups and downs that kind of make me happy because stagnation in this work gives me no inspiration.  Ups and downs push me to work harder, to go forward. That continuous process is like a labyrinth in which eventually I find a way out, a new painting subject. The true challenge in painting for me is to find spirituality, myself and through my paintings stimulate someone to contemplate, or just feel… anything!
