GHISLANDI GIANPIETRO
My name is Ghislandi Gianpietro. I
was born in Bergamo in 1983.
I am a self-taught men, keen on arts, although I have never attended any
kind of school of arts as well as any relevant courses.
In the last two years I have approached photography, meant as an
expression of art. At present I am exposing locally, in three different
places.
My working process consists in starting from one photo and transforming
it consequently, in order to obtain an image, which is the expression of
the present mood, I wish to represent. This slightly reminding the
original click.
The image is manipulated with different instruments like fire, water,
chloride, oil paints and some more. The essence is captured by a scanner
and the final expression is impressed with an electronic instrument.
My last works derive from the experience matured during my civil service
carried out assisting people affected with APD (paranoia or depression
deriving from the dependence on hallucinogenic substances).
I captured images like confusion, anxiety, loneliness, panic, mood of
disquiet and try to give to the subjects of my photos a new life.
Photography as a cure of soul.
