ALEKSANDRA STOJILJKOVIC

My name is Aleksandra Stojiljkovic.

   I was born in 1970^th in a small wonderful town of Subotica in Serbia, where I still reside with my family. 

The beauty of things around me raises the positive energy that I am trying to convey to all my canvases. 

I am a self-taught artist. Painting has always been something that relaxes me, like a blood flows through my veins and I think that I will never be able to stop doing it. 

    Love for my family and the painting are reason for my existence.
 My mentor was Kerekes Sandor. The simplicity and the beauty of his work was a great inspiration for me.

    Often I do nature and still life, maybe because as a mother, I spent most of the time at home with my children. Surrounded by everyday objects, I become unconsciously drown to it making them once again inspiration for all my paintings. I am trying to convey on the canvas the simplicity of each object and awake vivid impressions of the beauty to the eye of the observer.

      Positive energy radiates from my work. Harmony, simplicity and stability would be the main message of my paintings. I want to show people how little things make life fulfilled.

Love of the painting flows through my veins. I hope that people will realize the simplicity of my message and enjoy the little things, that makes our life complete.

     My three girls and my husband are my endless inspiration and of course everything that surrounds us and makes us happy. Painting is my love, my voice, my communications with the world. Language of the arts is immense and limitless.

     I am glad that I can share my talent with all of you who want to see the beauty and simplicity in all of the objects that surround us. I am sincerely thankful to become a member of this project, and I wish much luck to all the participants in their work.
