ADRIAN RICCIO

From my infancy I showed an interest for the drawing, with the course of the time I wanted to complete my works adding color and that's why I began to penetrate and experiment with the painting. At the beginning, I attribute my restlessness to the influence that my parents transmitted me due to their great taste for the cinema, the art, the nature and the aesthetics.
I chose the way of the painting because the drawing allowed me to come to this other phase in my personal research, and since then it is the way Y have to canalize my artistic expression; being this one for the present time the only skill, together with the digital art that I have developed.
I try to transmit in my work visual sensations that transmit beauty, harmony, sensuality, mystery, psicodelia, and different feelings and mental states across the face of a person, the look and the color.
The subject is the human nature led to a poetical vision. I relate the topics that I establish in my work with the metaphysics, taking as an element the conception idealized of a new human being, with characteristics supraterrenales and different that come from our own proper essence.
Many movements and styles have influenced me artistically, such as the art nouveau, the symbolism, the renaissance, the expressionism, the classic Greek and Egyptian art, anyway I do not feel limited to any school especially. I think that each of them as well as the different cultures reach to my growth
Undoubtedly that every look is special. What I express across them, arises from my unconscience where I store images, faces, feelings that flow and, they interact in the moment of creating and thus they take form to give life to a portrait. Every look is particular and what they express is a vision of the internal world of every character, which also is mine: from melancholy, to happiness and transpersonal accomplishment.
